Recommended reading

I love books, and I've got over 600 myself so far in total; the following is a list of books I have read and liked enough to safely be able to recommend them to others. It's nowhere near complete, but if you're looking for something nice to browse, this list should provide a good starting point. I've tried to list the original title of the work whenever I knew it, so don't be surprised by the strange mixture of english, french and german titles.
